Description
Interesting moves on diagonal holds, but too short.
Find the tree growing out from just below the top edge of the face, about a third or half of the way up from lower right end of face.
Start below that tree, up to the tree, and exit Right over top edge to Right side of that tree.
warning: The rock on and near this route has not been climbed much yet, and some of the rock is still breakable and loose -- so the belayer and other people should stand far away from underneath the climber or someone setting up top anchor.
. . . (Lots of vegetation on this rock as of 2018. Be prepared when climbing to navigate around protruding trees and branches, and dealing with holds slippery with grass, lichen, moss, dirt).
name? Bonticou Crag is a cliff with a great view, on the southeast side of the Gunks ridge near the north end of the Mohonk Preserve.

Location
This steep upper face about 15 ft high is above right from the upper slab + gully of the "notch" routes, and above right from the left side of Smiley Face. It is below left from the "big slanting roof" routes, and below left from the slab with the branch slanting down across its top.
Obvious way to reach its bottom is from the route "Dividing Ramp". Or could lower in from the top.
Find the tree growing out from just below the top edge of the face, about a third or half of the way up from lower right end of face.
