Kibble 'n Bits

Description

Kibble 'n Bits is an awesome route that follows the first 5? bolts of

Bits and Pieces

(5.12c) and then moves off directly to the right for one bolt before continuing up the face. There are 2 main cruxes on this route that involve some tricky foot placement. Right below the first roof (to the right of the 3rd bolt) there is a large block that seems stable but is cracking off on all 4 sides. It might be best to avoid weighting this block to save your belayer.

Location

Park in the same parking lot for Wall of the '90s. Walk downstream about 500 feet, and then cross the steel Tyrollean. There are metal rings on the Tyrollean, so you don't have to trash your biner every time you cross. If you do use a biner, then make sure it's steel.

Protection

14 bolts and a 2 bolt anchor with chains.
