Description

Pretty good climb, but I didn't zip it up like I should have. I used a green #.75 BDC3 in a good sized pocket 1/3 of the way up, then threaded a sling in a hole 2/3 of the way up. Feet start to crumble near the top out above the threaded sling, but it gets juggy so it shouldn't be a huge issue. There are plenty of placement options for tri-cams and stoppers, but the way that I protected it is the reason why I gave it an "R" rating. If you zipped it up, this would be a PG-13.Belay a second off the live tree at the top (backup the tree with a cam under the boulder if you want), or rappel down to clean, and hike up the pipe corridor to retrieve your anchor.

Location

From the Memorial Overlook parking lot, hike west (right when facing lake) on the trail for 2-3 minutes until you come to a sewage lagoon on the right and large pipe leading down to the lower level to the left. Carefully follow the pipe down to the lower trail about 25 vertical feet down, then continue further west on the lower trail about 100 feet around one corner and you will see the wall this route is on.

Protection

Standard rack of cams, 60cm slings for multiple treading spots, and tri-cams would be helpful in small pockets,
