Sky Slab

This route is located on the upper face of Apple Cider. Climb

to a large ledge. Sky Slab takes four bolts up an arete to an anchor underneath Riders on the Storm.

The crux comes right away at the first bolt. I stemmed across the crack - it would be contrived not to, but perhaps it is better to avoid this. The move has been done without the stem. The crux is around V6/7, and the rest is enjoyable 12a. Better beta could cut the grade conceivably.

It has interesting moves, but it is kind of a pain to get to, so I rate it only 2 stars.

and below Riders on the Storm. This is protected by four bolts with a two bolt anchor (lowering biners) and a one bolt belay anchor on the ledge to start. There is gear to be had at the lower anchor if one bolt isn't enough, but you are on a huge ledge, and the first bolt is easy to clip. You can rap to the ground with a 70m comfortably.
