Description
Start by scrambling up a 4th class slab and stick clip the first bolt. From here, easy dihedral climbing leads to a large ledge where you can rest. Swing over left and attack the roof, exiting on the right side of it. Get ready for the business--A long pull off of a very slopey rail leads to a variety of slopey sidepulls that take a lot of body tension to hold on to. It felt like climbing an overhanging refrigerator. Make the last clip and get ready for the redpoint crux: pulling the lip on more slopey sidepulls. A long last draw is useful to reduce rope drag during the final mantle.
If it's sunny, it gets sun most of the day, hence the name... A great winter climb for sure!
Turn around and gaze at the Adirondack beauty; it's amazing up there!
