MapDescription
Start up the loop bike Trail and veer off through a field of beautiful wild flowers (avoid trampling them!) up and right. Continue directly above to the base of the buttress-like Crag on the left (South) side of the slab. Prism Passage is the most compact appearing buttress of rock.
Pitch #1: Climb a unique conglomerate (yet compact) like quartzite past 8 bolts to a 3 bolt belay ledge just below the ridge crest. 5.9, 30m.
Rappel the route.
About equal approach time as the popular summer cragging area East Hellgate in LCC (after the Gondola ride up which is open on summer weekend days) and room for as many routes and way better rock:).
Location
Directly above the Needles Gondola/Lodge at Snowbasin Ski/Summer Resort.
Rappel the route.
Protection
8 bolts.
