Description
Power into a hanging, right angling crack beginning with perfect hands. The crack pinches down to flaring thin hands before opening into wider terrain. Finish up by gardening your way through the sloping moss covered top out into a punishing patch of briars and tree branches.
Location
Continue past Steeplechase for about 100 meters until you locate a low roof (just above head height). Romano's Crack splits the face of the right-facing wall to the left and begins at the low roof
Protection
BD 0.4 to #5, Tree or gear anchor 0.75-2 for gear anchor. Bring webbing or cord to rap off a tree at the crack's end. There is some old tat on a cedar near the end of the crack, but the tree looks like it could be dying. There is another tree just above the crack, though. Bolt anchors would make this route much more enjoyable
