Description

On the Hall of the Mountain Queen slab boulder, this committing V1 requires precise footwork to gain the security of the seamy jugs halfway up. A must do problem!

Location

Hall of the Mtn. Queens slab is a North face on a long, highish boulder creating one wall of the 'hall'.

A couple feet right of the obvious right trending ramp, the problem starts on thin crimps and thinnner feet, moving up to a sweet little finger crack then up to some horizontals. Look for the Thank God jug out left and downclimb the arete on the far left side of the boulder (as you face the climb) or walk down back and jump to adjacent ledge (not recommended).

Protection

Mostly flat landing, two pads would be recommended as there is a small rock and tree stump at the base of the climb. Trustworthy spotter might make you feel good too!
