Aspen Arete

FA unknown

UPDATED

Description

This is the obvious highball arete on the Northwest end of the wall split by Reservoir Dogs. The climbing on juggy, but hollow flakes is easy and fun until the climber must reach up and left to establish himself in a thin crack 15 feet off the deck. The final finger crack is of little difficulty, but use caution when relying and the friction of the lichenous rock.

Protection

Lots of pads and spotters, there is a small boulder at the base that could cause problems if you fell on the first half of the route.
