Description

This is the steep line to the right of

Flight School

. The cruxes are the obvious roof and steep sections above and below in the upper half of the wall. Doing both routes would make for a great day and worth the long approach.

Standard alpine rack to 3 inches plus #1 Big bro goes in bomber at the lip of the roof. The new RMNP guidebook suggests #5 Camalot - this would not fit and is not needed - I'm not sure I could even walk to the base with a #5 in my pack. # 1 Big bro works perfectly for the funky lip and is much easier to carry. A #4.5 Camalot might work.
