Description

P1 (5.6, 50'). Climb up the shallow crack the is 20' to the right of an obvious mini pinnacle. Spot the leader on the first few moves until protection is possible.

P2 (5.6, 40'). This is an incredible, but short pitch. Head slightly left, then climb the bomber cracks up to the small pinnacle above. Belay from here to have a great view of your partner following up with the river below.

P3 (5.4, 50'). Climb up angling to the right on easy terrain. Head for the small tree.

Location

This route sits at the upstream edge of the northwest wall. Begin with a steep section to get into the shallow crack (crux) then move up. The rest of the route lies left following a crack up to a mini pinnacle then continues up to a small tree.

Protection

There is poor protection on P1 low down. P2 protects really well with #0.75-#3. P3 protects fairly well and is on easy terrain.

The anchor is at the tree (a sling and two draws). You need TWO 60m ropes to rappel. Examine the tree before rappelling. Throw ropes far left to avoid getting wet.
