Bombs Away

Climb a juggy face with many large rounded edges. There are three small buldges that lead to an airy point overlooking Thompson Creek. Test for loose rock/flakes diligently.

From Thompson creek trail, look north (left) about 1.25 miles in for a large campsite on the hillside. Walk up a small trail to this campsite. You will see a large overhang. The belay is on the east (right) side of this overhang, on top of a large block and right below another smaller block.

Climbers access: Head west (left) and follow the ragged cliffline until you see a small cairn revealing a path up a ledge and around the cliff to a slot where there is a rope to help with this slot. Follow the trail to the top, and look for blazes on trees to lead you to the point above Bombs Away.

No anchors as of yet. Climbers trail to the top of this point has been cut to provide access to top of this and many other routes on this wall.

Anchor setup: Will need long slings/cord/webbing to attach to many trees on top.
