Orange Face Left Project

Strenuous climbing characterized by some very poor holds and long moves. Step off ledge into off-balance layback section. Make big moves on bad holds to reach a nice rest at about midway. Move back left through crimpy terrain and finish with several long reaches between good holds.

Just right of Surprise Inside on the Orange Face. Use same approach for both Orange Face Projects. It might not be a bad idea to follow the Ladyfingers approach to the top of the buttress and drop off the other side to avoid the scree pile upstream of Cutthroats Don't Wear Plaid.

No bolts on route as of writing. Intention is to place two bolts down low and rely on small, tricky gear placements through second 2/3 of route. Bolted anchors can be reached by swinging around the corner from anchors of Surprise inside.
