Leaning Jam

This is the obvious horizontal crack on the boulder just north of the

Iron Cross Traverse

. Start below the left side of the crack, and climb up the slab (watch the crumbly feet) to an undercling which allows you to reach the crack, and then move left and up under the overhang with a good, sharp hand jam to a secure topout. This is a bit awkward but kind of a cool sequence and a decent problem to add to the moderate circuit in this area.

From the Crown Rock parking, walk down the westernmost trail - this will be the first boulder you come to on the left. Or, find this boulder by walking a short ways north from the

Iron Cross Traverse

,

etc

. It is on a boulder with a long horizontal crack (there is a fun highball V0 problem at the right end of the crack but I'm not sure what the name is. It doesn't match the Colorado Bouldering description of "Right Bulge" at all but seems to be the most obvious line right of Leaning Jam).

A pad and spotter would be ideal. Although not super high, a fall would result in an awkward landing on the initial slab followed by a tumble to the path.
