Description

I'm not a big fan of linkups, but this one makes sense. It combines the hardest sections of both routes with a much easier, path-of-least-resistance through the otherwise contrived roof.

Crimp the difficult, vertical face of

Gagger

until below the roof, then traverse left as the holds improve. Be sure to clip the bolt in the roof (reachy). Join

Give the Dog a Bone

at the left side of the roof, and finish as per that route. Use long slings on the bolts just below and above the roof.

Protection

10 bolts to a three-bolt anchor.
