The Knobby

Since the Upper Fat City Drainage was once known as Embudo Canyon, site of nearly all early bouldering in the area, it seems appropriate to document one of the classic early problems. The Knobby lies in the center of the canyon about a hundred yards up from what used to be the parking lot (dam at the canyon constriction). It has a large black knob sticking out about ten feet up.
