Description

This is a unique line climbing the prow like edge of Blank Slate that overlooks the streambed. Surmounting the lower overhang requires fun moves using pockets, compression, or both. The cruxy sit down start is a little awkward and might not be worth the effort for some...in that case a higher start with the RH on a sloper could be done which might lower the difficulty a grade.

Location

The line is obvious-SDS below the overhang using a good incut for the RH and a flat sidepull for the LH. Climb up and just a little left (to avoid the loose rock on the right side) into the groove above the overhang. It’s possible to escape to the left at about 2/3 height onto the slab but for full value climb straight up over the steepest part of the upper face.
