Description
This is a longstanding project formerly called Tom's Roof. Lukasz adopted it, and finally sent. Climb flaky, friable, pocketed face (no pro, easy) to right edge of roof. Contrive gear, reach the bolt, then monkey-swing left along the horizontal (#1 C4). A difficult move surmounts the overhang to reach easy terrain. Belay off a large tree, using small sapling on the slab as a directional. Very Reachy: short people will have a rough time clipping the bolt and making the dive for the horizontal.
Location
Just past the height-of-land on the East Path; the obvious giant roof. Rappel off trees to descend. It is possible to climb easy fifth class above the top of this route and walk off climber's left to reach the Upper Walls path.
Protection
Key #1 Red C4 or equivalent in the crack. There is one bolt before placing this piece. Also, to reach the bolt, a purple (.5) C4 protects the move, but the block at the horizontal is loose - place gear in the crack underneath the roof. After clipping the bolt, remove it or you get rope drag.
