- Edit (TBD)
Description
P1 - An easy jaunt up a dihedral and around an arete eventually gains a gully. A harder variation takes the obvious face crack straight up. 5.6 - 5.7 ish.P2 - Scramble the remainder of the gully, a slab with ample cracks leads to a short fun dihedral. Dihedral is the crux if you don't count the approach. 5.8.P3 - Easy cracks and some care to not pull deathblocks onto the belayer will yield a ledge. Fun offwidth to the top of the tower. 5.8.3 raps to base with a 70m rope. The last rap just barely made it, and would have required another intermediary rap with a shorter rope.
Location
Coordinates: 45.20259, -117.28969~100 ft east of a chossy red buttress, scramble up a small gully to base. Western end of Wallowa County Crag. We were looking for the Barley Cox Route on Jehovah Jireh Tower - once we got close enough we could see this wasn't it but looked fun anyway.
