On the Cold Boulder

Sit start in the massive in-cut jug portion of the crack in the back of the roof and use interesting hand-foot match toe-hook beta to negotiate the roof crack. Jam or use face climbing techniques to exit the crack line. Top out with a solid mantle and tip toe up to the top. Exit off of the front uphill side of the boulder.

Such a cool "crack climb"! Walk down to the SLS boulder and 50 yards below it on the trail cut left and start down the hill through the woods. Look for the long boulder with the protruding roof along its side. Walk downhill along the boulder and at the bottom portion of the boulder you will find a long enticing crack under the low roof. This is the "Surge" problem.
