Knocked Up and Laid Off
Description
This is a classic problem I sent the day after getting laid off and a week after getting the news my wife is pregnant with our first child ! Shhhyyyyzahhh ! Check out the sick video: youtu.be/yNq48-H9JEw
Long dynamic moves to awesome holds with a clean line and a great top out. For the record this problem is awesome you're 6'1. The moves fit justtt rightt.
Boulder is located about 50 yards off the A.T. off of West Cornwall Rd off Route 7, West Cornwall, CT. Park at the AT road crossing, head south on the trail, cross the creek, after about 50 yards you will find a cairn, head uphill here you can pretty much see the large boulder sitting uphill of the trail. There is a large boulder field with some other lines behind it. 3 to 5 minute approach.
Location
Start standing with left hand on awesome horizontal at eye level and right hand on the horn/undercling to the right. Pull on and get ready to Huck a big move up and left to the first big hole. piano your fingers over, match, swing into the campus move left, get your left hand in the left hole. Get your feet and fire up to a secure crimp in the small crack. Grab the ear up top, do a weird little Kip over to get your foot out left onto the mantle and top out.
The big move is the crux it is a hard dead point huck and my knees always wanted to hit the wall it was awkward and took some timing.
Protection
One or two pads and a spotter. It's a toss up.. I finally decided not to pad the rock cause my feet kept dabbing on it when I swung through the campus move.
