Start as for the bolted line on the left side of the face, but move up and left from the first bolt, through an improbable-looking series of small edges and smears. Reach the patina at its far left side, just to the right of the second rusty old bolt of the west prow. Continue climbing the left edge of the patina to the bolted rap anchor. Rappel to descend.
