Mud Traverse

This is a great lowball lip traverse that supplies the Den with an easy warm-up that also doesn't require a plethora of pads!

Sit start matched on the left side lip of the short boulder. (Just left of the mud puddle!) Pull-on and make a series of fun moves on large holds until you reach the bulging apex of the lip before executing the crux top-out!

This climb is great for beginners and experts alike.

Yes, it does go campus as well!

This short boulder is found in between The Big Boss Boulder(Numb Thumb and Charybdis) and The Butthole Boulder (Up in Smoke and Big Ocean). From "Up in Smoke" spin around and walk to around the right side of the giant slabby boulder found behind Up in Smoke. (This boulder is referred to as the Devil's Fish Tank in the Pawtuckaway Underground Guidebook) After stepping over a few smaller boulders, the talus will clear out and "Charybdis" (the giant roof just left of "Numb Thumb") will become clearly visible, from here the lowball "Mud Traverse" will be found to your right!
