Description

Well deserving of its name, the crux of Masochistic is right off the deck. Inch your way up the first 10-15 feet of this off-width with crumbly, scaly feet. After that is easy fifth class to the top. Walk off the back.

Location

This route is the obvious split in the boulder that stares at you from the picnic area.

Protection

Requires a single BD #6. The guidebook says "pro up to 5 inches," but is wrong.
