W.A.P. (Wet Ass Pitch)

Description

This section of the wall tends to be very wet but is certainly worthwhile if you can catch it dry! The first half of the climb features awesome technical climbing in excellent dark rock. Just past midway the terrain steepens and the rock quality goes down, however, the rock is more solid than it appears! Unique for Mag, as the climb goes all the way to the top of the cliff making it one of the taller pitches in the area.

Location

Look for the dirty black hand crack as you make your way past the Breakfast Wall. The climb is located just to the right of the crack or down and right from the famous (now dead) Mount Magazine State Park tree.

Protection

8 bolts to a 2-bolt anchor
