Description

True to its namesake, the crack is loose and crumbly which can make it a bit tricky for a beginner trad leader (don't use cams). Climb the left diagonal cracks up to a ledge with a Palo Verde tree. Belay from the tree and/or walk off to the west. There are also a set of rap anchors above on the wall a few yards to the north near Snakes Are Poodles Too

Location

Follow the easy-looking leftward leaning diagonal cracks on the southeast corner of Bobcat Boulder.

Protection

Due to the crumbly rock, use stoppers/nuts and not cams.
