Mind The Gap

The technical crux is the first few moves of slab. Once the arete is gained it is a pleasure cruise to glory. The arete is great but the feet are small enough to keep your attention.

This would get all the stars if the slab to the left wasn't there. It doesn't interfere with the climbing but it does make it possible to avoid the crux by starting the line off the slab.

The line faces away from the trail so you will just need to walk into the cluster to find it. It is pretty straight-forward.....its the giant arcing arete that you will want to climb when you see it.

4 pads did us right....but we didn't fall :) 2 will flatten out the stepped landing to the left of the star and 2 will offer some protection for the rest.
