Monkey On My Back

Description

Start low on the easy face to reach the first bolt. This avoids the very loose blocks at the base of the arete and keeps everybody safer. Make sure you clip the second bolt prior to a fun filled romp up steep to over hanging good rock and a turn or two around the arete. The moves after the second and just past the third bolt are cruxie but the pump will not let up until you reach the anchor. This is a photogenic line for those who, unlike me, have a good camera.

Location

This is the most southerly line in the Upper Canopy and just left of Stuffed Monkey.

Protection

Five QDs and runners for the two bolt anchor.
