Lucky Charm

This route climbs just to the left of the arete on the right hand side of the face of Bulge Block that is parallel to the trail (#9 in the new guide). Like it's neighbor, "Puckered Green," misinformation led us to mistakenly put bolts on this route that had been previously climbed on gear.  We have offered to remove the bolts but it appears that they will stay.

For those who want to practice trad, (perhaps with the security of back up bolts?) start under the overhanging right corner of this block. Pull through the crux start without any pro for 15 feet (or clip the bolt). Once through the start, climb easier holds to the overhanging section and better pro. Pull through the overhanging section and find some long reachy slopers at the top.

There are now bolts on this route.  A standard trad rack will protect for those wanting to practice trad.
