Root Canal

Root Canal is one of the interesting climbs at Area 31. About halfway up the climb there is a hold that looks like a tooth, hence the name "Root Canal." There are multiple holds to point out in which make this climb easier. First being a side-pull down and to the left of the tooth. This side-pull can allow you to reach your hand alongside the tooth, although for taller people this is unnecessary. There is a slight overhang where two small, sharp under clings have to be used. It's a really awesome move to perform. A crimp above the overhang as well as a high left hand to the crack above the overhang are also key holds to this route.
