- Edit (TBD)
Description
At around 100 feet tall, this bolted route is a good romp for a budding leader. While the bulk of the route is composed of step-like ledges and large knobs (5.5 or easier), there are two slightly more difficult sequences between the 1st and 2nd bolts and again just below the anchor (5.6).
This has generally good rock, but lichen abounds. There are some loose blocks on the arete climber's right of the route-- so watch out if doing TR variations.
Location
Walk 25 feet uphill from the roadway on the upstream side of the formation to find the small belay stance. Rap from the rusty chains.
Protection
7 bolts to a 2-bolt anchor (with rusty chains and crusty yellow webbing?? as of this entry).
There is a bit of a distance between bolts 6 & 7 which might give the new leader pause.
