Description
Some routes are very feature driven. This line exists because the feature, a striking arete, needed to be climbed regardless of how enjoyable it may or may not be. It so happens that it is an enjoyable route after all. Interesting technical moves lead to a rest before breaking out to the arete. Think about perhaps a knee bar. Feel around to optimize your hand hold choices and generally give what you’ve got in order to get through this bouldery crux. Getting to the chains shouldn’t be an issue once through the crux, but don’t fall asleep at the wheel. You might sink into the Crushing Darkness.
Location
This is the line of bolts up the nice arete you see when you enter the area proper. It starts where you have to step over/around the downed tree that fell away from the cliff.
Protection
7 bolts I think. Pigtail anchor
