MapDescription
An easy Class 2 scramble from the col (11,700+) to the west of the peak.
Getting to the col can be more of an adventure, and best tackled in early season when it becomes a fun (especially to descend) snow bowl. From Big McGee Lake head east and up to Crocker Lake beneath the col (10,914) then the long moderate slope to the col, just before the col there's a steeper gully section cutting through the steeper rock, head up steeper snow or exposed ledges until you can cut left, and up the gully to the col.
The ridge itself is best done close to the north face.
Descend the way you came.
Location
Best done from a camp site at Big McGee Lake. The lake is approached from the McGee Creek trailhead.
Protection
Ice axe in early season.
