Daily Grind

Description

The left side of the Working Wall Buttress has a steep bulge festooned with very large course blocks. Boulder up the blocks to reach a large smooth projecting cobble. Yard up on the smooth cobble and a side pull to reach a black jug and pull through a vertical section. Climb up and left through cobbles and pockets as the exposure increases. From a stance upon a large course grained orange block climb through nice cobbles and pockets to the anchor. Mind the fall line on descent/rappel as descending the route line can result in an unpleasant pendulum.

Location

On the south face of the Hatchery, at the left side of the buttress. Eight feet left of Night Shift.

Protection

7 bolts to two-ring Fixe anchor.
